Cleaning Shower Heads

We have finally moved!! Yay! So, of course, the home we wanted was in a flood zone and we just weren't willing to wait for another home to come along at this point! We have chosen to rent a town house and I love it! I cannot believe I have been against renting for so long! Yes, I understand it's "throwing your money away" but we do not need an entire house for just the two of us! Even when we do decide to have a child, we won't need it then either. Can really help you learn your budget, plus you never have to worry about fixing anything! I am a-okay with that!

I will get pictures up once I have finally unpacked! Then I can start all my awesome DIY's! The hubs is out of town this weekend to hunt, so I am sure I can get things done! As of now it's lots of cleaning and organizing!

The one thing I hate about renting is, someone lived there before me. (Same for a home, but usually one family or two) The major phobia I have is the shower. Yuck! Our shower head was very dirty and had lots of build up. I could have just bought another one, but shower heads can be expensive so I found a solution!

You will need;

Zip lock bag
vinegar
Twist tie

All you have to do is fill the zip lock bag half way with vinegar, put around shower head, and twist tie to hold in place! Let soak for at least 30 minutes, won't hurt if you let it sit longer, then wipe away! I used a magic eraser to wipe clean, but just a rag will remove all the grime! Your shower head will sparkle like new! Let me know how it works for you! :)
