From our wedding we received a Magic Bullet for a gift! I don't think I've ever even used a blender in my life! My sister in-law has a Ninja and she puts that thing to use every day! So I finally decided to bust it out and attempt something! First thing I saw on Pinterest.. Smoothies! I absolutely hate fruit, it's a texture thing, and yes I know I'm a freak. Well, I have finally discovered I LOVE FRUIT in smoothie form. Here are a few recipes I have just thrown together, they have gotten better each time, my husband even asks for them! Try them and let me know what you think! I'll post new ones when I come up with them!
I have recently started using frozen fruit! During the winter fruit is not in season and after doing research, frozen fruit is better then "fresh fruit". It's not really fresh after days of traveling, when frozen fruit is frozen at it's peak nutrition! I buy mixed berries or mix single bags of fruit! A bonus to using frozen fruit, I never have to add ice! And I never have to cut and chop, I just pull it out of the freezer and pour!
I have also figured out a way to add "veggie's" Greens by ItWorks! Here's all the info for you! Www.bkonersmann.myitworks.com Check it out and order! They are such a health benefit and such an easy way to get in your veggie servings!

Green Machine1 green apple
1 cup spinach leaves
1 cup apple juice
1 handful green grapes
1 tbsp honey
Peach
1 peach
1 banana
6 strawberries
1 tbsp raw honey
1 cup orange juice
PB Banana
1 banana
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tbsp nutella
1 tbsp raw honey
1 cup skim milk
Berries!
Apple Cinnamon (Favorite so far!)
1 apple cut up
1/2 cup peanutbutter
1 tbsp nutella
1 tbsp raw honey
1 cup skim milk
Cinnamon, as much as you want!
Strawberry Banana (So yummy!)
1 banana
10 or so strawberries (to get that real strawberry taste)
1 cup milk (I added milk to this one, even though it doesn't have pb)
1 tbsp honey
1 apple cut up
1/2 cup peanutbutter
1 tbsp nutella
1 tbsp raw honey
1 cup skim milk
Cinnamon, as much as you want!

Tips; I add juice when it's all fruit and I add milk when it has peanut butter in the recipe! Adding 1 cup spinach leaves to any smoothie is great for your body! I promise you can't taste it! Also adding honey to smoothies is a body benefit as well! Adding 1 green apple covers the flavor of anything.. not so tastey!
